Connected Apps
MoEngage Connected Apps provide a low-code platform for integrating various data sources and channels. This platform enables marketers and partners to connect their marketing technology stack, exchange real-time data, and create personalized customer interactions across different sources and platforms. Connected apps allow you to connect any app to MoEngage. You can create connections to easily send users, events, and segments from MoEngage to your own app.

Connected Channels
Connected Channels present an easy way to link MoEngage with any customer interaction platform seamlessly. They support many channels, including messaging channels, ads/retargeting platforms, IVR/ support tools, chatbots, and more.
Connected channels offer the same functionality as other MoEngage channels, enabling you to integrate and use them effectively.

Use Cases for Connected Channels
Here are some real-world scenarios where you can leverage connected channels to create personalized and timely customer interactions:
- Retargeting abandoned cart users: Use MoEngage to identify users who added items to their shopping cart but did not complete the purchase. You can then automatically send this user segment to a retargeting platform like Criteo Ads to show them personalized ads for the products they left behind.
- Real-time alerting: If a logistics company's user's package is delayed, you can trigger an event in MoEngage to send a real-time notification to the customer via a messaging app like Telegram.
- Customer support automation: When a user submits a Support Ticket event in your app, use MoEngage to send their user profile and event details to a support tool like Freshdesk. This automatically creates a new ticket in Freshdesk, providing your support team with all the necessary context

Channel Connector | A Channel Connector, or simply a Connector, is a specific configuration that defines how MoEngage campaigns integrate with a connected app. Each connector links to a particular API at the destination and serves a specific use case. |
A Criteo Ads Connected Channel typically has two connectors:

Connection | When you integrate a Channel Connector for your connected channel, MoEngage creates a Connection. You can name new connections for easy identification within the MoEngage platform. |
In case you are using two different Criteo Ad accounts (for Business A and Business B), you can connect them separately on MoEngage as separate connections:
