Fair Usage Policy

Overview

A fair usage policy is a set of guidelines and rules implemented to ensure all users have equal and non-discriminatory access to MoEngage resources. MoEngage's Fair Usage Policy helps ensure that resources are allocated fairly among all users, and instances where a large volume of data is ingested quickly from a limited number of users, do not happen to the detriment of other users. MoEngage will proactively identify FUP violations and block users who engage in such violations despite warnings permanently.

How does the Fair Usage Policy work?

Under our fair usage policy, we have set certain limits and restrictions on data ingestion. If users violate these limits, MoEngage will temporarily block their account for a specified time limit. However, if, despite a temporary block, the user continues to violate the limits once their account is unblocked, they will be blacklisted from MoEngage after such violations. For more information, refer to the Fair Usage Policy Limits and Guidelines.
