Campaign Analytics Page

Overview

The Campaign Analytics page offers valuable insights into the performance of your MoEngage campaigns. Use this page to understand user engagement, track key metrics, and refine your marketing strategies across channels like Push, In-app Messaging, and Email.

To view the analytics for any campaign:

  1. On the left navigation menu in the MoEngage UI, go to Engage > Campaigns.
  2. Click the desired campaign from the list.

Each campaign analytics page may contain one or more sections, depending on the channel for which the campaign was created.

All metrics are calculated and displayed in your App's Time Zone.

Campaign Information

This section shows you details about how a campaign was set up. You can review:

  • Who received the campaign
  • Which platform was targeted (like Android or iOS)
  • The creative types used (such as images or videos), including if multiple versions were sent
  • When the campaign was sent
  • What the campaign goals were

Campaign Performance Metrics

This section gives you detailed metrics on how your campaign performed. You can see:

  • Overall campaign metrics, such as sent, opens, clicks, bounces, and conversions.
    • For Push Campaigns: Impressions, Clicks, Conversions, and Converted Users. For more information, see Push Campaign Analytics.
    • For In-App Campaigns: Impressions, Clicks, Closed, Conversions, and Converted Users. For more information, see In-App Campaign Analytics.
    • For Email Campaigns: Sent, Opens, Clicked, Conversions, Bounces, Unsubscribes, and Complaints. For more information, see Email Campaign Analytics.
  • Revenue data related to your conversion goals
  • A timeline of the campaign's activity
  • Performance results for Multivariate (A/B) tests
  • Delivery funnel insights
  • Aggregated error details for users who did not receive the campaign

Note

Campaign analytics uses event time for analysis. For more details, see Event Time and Server Time.

Click Analysis

This section shows you how users interact with your campaign creatives. You can view:

  • A click map of the creative
  • Overall link performance
  • Performance of individual links

You can also perform these actions from the Campaign Analytics page:

Duplicate a Campaign

Duplicate an existing campaign to create a new one with similar settings, for example, if you want to target a different user segment or make a minor change for the same segment.

  1. To duplicate a campaign, click the Duplicate button at the top of the Campaign Analytics page.
  2. This takes you to the campaign creation page, pre-filled with all settings from the original campaign. Learn more about creating a Push campaign, In-App campaign, or Email campaign.

Edit a Campaign

Edit an active campaign when you need to make minor corrections while it is still running.

  1. To edit an active campaign, click the Edit button at the top of the Campaign Analytics page.
  2. This opens the campaign creation page, allowing you to modify the campaign settings.

Pause, Resume, or Stop a Campaign

You can manage the status of your campaigns from the Campaign Analytics page:

  • For event-triggered campaigns, use Pause to temporarily halt an active campaign. Use Resume to restart a paused campaign.
  • For periodic campaigns, use Stop to end an active campaign permanently.
