Creating a new account on MoEngage
To access MoEngage, you must either be invited into your company's MoEngage Workspace or sign up as a new company on MoEngage.
Your company is already using MoEngage
If someone from your company has already logged into MoEngage previously, you can have a MoEngage Admin from your company invite you to the account.
Somebody invited you
If invited to MoEngage, you should receive a welcome email from alerts@moengage.com. Clicking on the registration link will take you to the "Finish account setup" page, where you will be prompted to set a password for your account:
You can also choose to skip the password by signing in with Google. To do so, click on the Continue with Google option. If your admin has enforced Single Sign On (SSO), then you will be taken to the Login with Single Sign On page, where you will be asked to log in using your company's chosen SSO provider.
Creating a new company
If you and your company have not used MoEngage before, you can proceed to create a new account. To create a new account on MoEngage, you need to visit:
https://dashboard-0X.moengage.com/v4/#/auth/signup
The 'X' in the URL refers to the MoEngage Data Center (DC). MoEngage hosts each customer in a different DC. You can find your DC number (value of X) and replace the value of 'X' in the URL by referring to the DC and API endpoint mapping here.
Fill in your details, or choose to fast-track with Google.
To sign up with Google, click on Continue with Google and select your Google account to use with MoEngage. Once you have signed in with Google, give us a few details, and you're ready to start engaging your customers with MoEngage!

Note If your administrator has enforced Google Sign In, then you will be forced to sign in with Google even after entering the correct credentials. |
Using Google Sign-In
An alternate way to authenticate your password is using Google Sign-In. Anyone, by default, can sign into MoEngage using their registered Google accounts. To do this, on the MoEngage Login page, click on the Sign in with Google option. Select your Google account to continue.
Using Single Sign On (SSO)
If your administrator has enforced Sigle Sign On in your organization, you can only use SSO to log in. To continue, click Login using SSO on the MoEngage page. Enter your registered email address and click Login. You will then be taken to your organization's SSO provider to continue. Once you have successfully authenticated, you will automatically be logged in to MoEngage.
2-Factor Authentication
If your MoEngage Admin has enabled 2FA authentication for your account, then you will be asked for additional authentication when signing in with Google or using your password. For more information, refer to 2-Step Verification.

This could have happened due to various reasons:
-
Forced logouts - If you see the following message: "You have been logged out due to recent security updates. Please login again.", it could be due to any of these scenarios:
- Your role might have been changed by the Admin or Manager of your account - In such a case, log in again. To find out more about roles in MoEngage, refer to Access Roles.
- Your admin might have enforced Google Sign On - In such a case, log in using your Google Account to link it to MoEngage.
- Your admin might have enabled Single Sign On - In such a case, log in using your Identity Provider (Google, Okta, One Login) log in credentials for security purposes.
- Session expired - If you see the following message: "Your session has expired. Please log in again." this occurs when your session is not active for a long time. In such a case, log in again.
-
Site Data - If you see the following message: "Your session has expired. Please clear your site data to continue", do the following:
- Click the ellipsis at the top right corner of your browser.
- Select More tools > Developer tools. Alternatively, press the Ctrl+Shift+i for Windows and Cmd+Option+i for Mac.
- Select the Application tab. If you don't see the option, click the >> icon to reveal any hidden tabs.
- Select Storage in the left pane and click Clear Site Data in the right pane.
- Select all the options.
All the data stored for the site will be deleted, and you will be signed out immediately. Log in again to access your MoEngage dashboard.
If the problem still persists, you can write to support@moengage.com.
You can create a new password at any time using the Forgot Password option on the Login page.
This is because your last used Workspace might have Google Sign-In enforced. Please contact your MoEngage Admin to understand your company's login policy.
