Overview- Push Notification Center

The Notification Center shows your push notification history inside your App, allowing you to provide an option for the end-user to scroll back and see what they have missed. MoEngage provides out-of-box inbox support with a fully customizable default UI and an option to build your own Notification Center.

Benefits

Push Notification Center Functionalities

The factors and functionalities below remain the same for both the push notification center and the self-handled notification center, except for placement and delivery.

Placement and Delivery

Notification center content can be displayed to the user in the following ways

  • An Out-of-the-box inbox with a few UI customization options
    • As a full page Activity that can be launched on a user action OR
    • As an embedded Fragment in your app's activity (Android only)
  • For self handled notification center,  you have access to the entire notification payload, which can be used to build the custom UI.
